She is a fixture at our basketball games usually playing an instrument with the pep band. She has also directed our student musicals and served as a class sponsor. The students who play in the band, sing in the choir, and perform in the musicals are grateful for Ms. Clary’s sponsorship in those areas.

Bethany Jenkins – Ms. Jenkins has taught at the Troy Grade School for thirteen years During this time she has taught kindergarten and first grade and most recently she serves as the Troy Pre-School teacher. It is a busy day, juggling the 3-year-old and 4-year old program, but Ms. Jenkins handles it with great poise and caring. Mrs. Jenkins is currently taking classes to better understand our three- and four-year-old student population.

Marilyn Lance – Mrs. Lance is in her 6th year with the Troy Schools teaching middle school and high school English/Language Arts. During those 6 years, Mrs. Lance has built a strong rapport with teachers, staff, as well as her students. In turn, Mrs. Lance is liked and respected by all. Mrs. Lance is reliable and always available when needed to jump in and assist with other classes and is a multi-talented educator. Organization and preparation are 2 words that describe Mrs. Lance. Students in her classes end the year with a much greater understanding of the English language and its usage.
