Emerson Weber Puts On Strong Contact Performance As Troy Varsity Trojans Take The Win Over Horton Varsity Chargers
Emerson Weber collected three hits in three at bats, as Troy Varsity Trojans defeated Horton Varsity Chargers 11-1 on Thursday. Weber hit a solo home run to left field in the third inning, tripled in the fifth inning, and singled in the fourth inning.

Chargers 17-2 on Thursday thanks in part to 10 runs in the third inning. Horton Varsity Chargers were the first to get on the board in the first when Bobbi Becker grounded out, scoring one run.
Thomas walked, which helped Troy Varsity Trojans tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
In the bottom of the second, Troy Varsity Trojans broke up the tie when Rush grounded out, scoring one run. Then an error followed to extend the lead to 4-1.
