The KSHSAA State Cross Country Championship Page has information and will likely answer questions you and/or your coaches may have.

Here are a few pieces of information:

  • Tickets are $10 for kindergarten and above.  PreK and under are free.
    • At Rim Rock, fans may not purchase tickets in advance online.  Cash and credit cards will be accepted on site.
    • At Wamego, fans may purchase tickets in advance online at GoFan.co early next week. Tickets may be purchased on site with cash only.  Tickets purchased in advance will be redeemed at the gate.
  • Superintendents, Principals and ADs for each school represented in the meet are on a printed list given to each host site.  Those three individuals receive free admission.  Their spouses and family members do not.  Simply tell the people working at the gate, they will check their list and let you in.
  • Teams and individuals are automatically advanced in MileSplit.  There is not an entry form for the state meet.
  • If a team needs to make a substitution, they have until noon Central Time on Monday, October 27.  This can only be done on the Girls State Substitution Form and the Boys State Substitution Form.  At noon Central Time Monday, October 27, there will be no changes to rosters, bibs will be assigned, the meet file will become final and the program will start to print.
    • If your team is not making a substitution, then you DO NOT need to complete this.
  • Live scoring and live splits will be available at KS.MileSplit.com and MidwestTiming.com.  In Wamego there will be a multi-camera video production on NFHSNetwork.com for $13.99 with KSHSAA Hall of Famer Garry Sigle as part of the broadcast team.
  • For those qualifiers at Rim Rock Farm – communicate to parents and fans to allow extra time to get there and park.  For people who haven’t been there before, the amount of traffic on the dirt roads can be a surprise.
  • No pets are allowed at either site.
  • Programs will be sold for $4.
  • State championship apparel will be sold at each site.
