USD 429 Troy Honors Veteran's

The Troy Student Councils honored local veterans during their Veterans Day program, Monday November 11th. Those in attendance had the privilege to hear Mayor Michael Brissett, Luke Smith ( former THS graduate), Jaya Weishaar, and others share their thoughts and memories of what this day means to them. This year’s assembly was a bit more special and heart-wrenching as a local hero, Don Allen Clary, was remembered for his honesty, bravery, and courage. Don Allen was a true hero to many as he paid the ultimate sacrifice as he put others before himself on November 8, 2004.
